On February 17, 2023, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced the schedule, start date, time table, match list, and venues for IPL 2023. According to the schedule, the matches will be played in a home and away-format, with each team playing seven home games and seven away games during the league stage.
The 16th edition of the IPL, scheduled for 2023, will consist of 70 league-stage matches and will be played across 12 venues over a period of 52 days.
